So I haven't been writing much lately. I don't mean blogs, like on here. I mean 'inspired thoughts, brilliant, star-shrouded metaphors and ideas that just appear in my head at the most random times' writing. I guess I've just had a lot to think about in my head lately...but that's not like me at all. If somethings bothering me, I usually write it in my actual journal, at least. 
I guess there just hasn't been much to inspire me lately. And yet there has been. Now, looking at things from an observers point of view...I've had an abundance of things to inspire me to write. -STRUCK BY INSPIRATION-
But I can't write it down...It's stuck in my head as I hear it flow around and around and around madly! There's too many lines, ideas, words, floating around there. The first is gone seconds after the first appears. I can't concentrate on  one thought, for fear I'll lose the next. And I can't prioritize them, sacrifice any, because I love them all the same.

That's like real life, with your relationships and feelings and confusions and ideas.

What prompted my sudden downpour of thought and poetry today  was one of the poems I've read today. The last stanza really stuck to me, flew to the back ceiling of my head and super glued itself to me. I can feel it there, pushing, pushing, refusing to be unnoticed, joining the suffragettes of verses in my head.
Not because of it was a brillinatly complex yet simple stanza. It's pretty normal, actually...well. I dunno. Here's a link to the actual poem.

Ohhhhh mannnnnnnn I'm so exhausted. I just finished volunteer waitressing for people who did a memorial at my church. My eyes aren't even all the way open, and I'm all slouchy. I feel sticky and gross. My mascara has won a marathon sprint down my face. My heels are tingly. It's tiring to type.
Haha, I haven't been this physically tired since I overworked myself running suicides!
(Mentally, I'd say I'm quite witty. ;] )

Seriously, the people there KNEW I was a volunteer, like that I'm not even a real waitress. But they were so rude!! Like, come on. At least pay me for your insolence.
Hah, and people say teacher is underpaid. I'm CERTAIN real waitressing must be underpaid!

2 Tables had no cups, saucers, milk, or sugar, so I ran around like a chicken with it's head cut off, in the humid basement packed with 150 people, finding them what they wanted.
1 table told me to 'nevermind' when I appeared with the stuff. The other table was nice.

So this took about 10 minutes.
I moved onto the next table, served them liquids, ran out of tea, refilled. Then the next table comes along.
*cue rude, snobby nasally voice* "I'VE BEEN WAITING AN ETERNITY FOR TEA AND COFFEE!" 
me (gritting teeth): "I'm very sorry. Those two tables had no dishes."
"JUST GIVE ME MY TEA AND COFFEE!!!!"
And then some other woman treated me like a dirty, insignificant serf.

I did not return to that table. =)

Seriously though, I was just supposed to be a tea and coffee girl, like the buffet was already set up by caterers, but I turned into a 'fetch me' girl and a 'GIMME TEA AND COFFEE!!' girl. lol.

Some other people were really, really nice, though. :)

Anyways. I'm so tired.
Crazily enough though, I wouldn't mind applying for a job at a restaurant. With the exception of restraining myself from mocking rude people through sarcasm, I think I could handle it! :) (Or at least bussing tables, or something.) And there are a lot of restaurants near my house. If I could get a part time job at one, it'd work out pretty good, because I could walk - so I'd be able to get there on my own most of the time.

Haha, there's a couple wonderful icons somewhere on my computer that perfectly describe how tired I am. I want to use them for the 'icon of the moment.'
But, it would help to know where they are/what folder they're in. XD

LOL I was thinking earlier today, that guys better watch out.
I've rediscovered Shania Twain and Arethra Franklin.
They sing powerful, man-hating, inspiring and influential, music. haha. They're such amazing songs though! And so true. ^_^ Oh, and I have my '[girl]power bracelet', with all its inspiring charms. :)

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile, you guys! I've been very busy though >.<. most days I'm up for about 19 or 20 hours, and I get up around 6:30am! And I have a ton of homework, too. =P

Haha, so I haven't blogged in awhile..sorry. My social life was calling me. =P

Got up around 6:30 am and went to swim for 20 minutes, then woodwinds, and did pretty good on my midterm thing. :) Ms.Cole said I got between a 90/95%.
lol, so today in bio mena and were quoting Monty Python XD It was hilarious...
Urban Geo, we watched Donnie Darko. Haha, I love that movie. ^_^
Lunch was..uhm. Interesting, to say the least. XD lmao, Mary was all 'Naked Twister' and I nearly choked on my pretzel. You dont want to know. Don't ask. =P
English, bugged Tanisha and Jordan. :P lol, Tanisha kept poking someone's shoulders cause they're really strong and wide. XD lol love you Tanisha! :P

Well.

Well I want to blog, but I pretty much have no energy to. O_o The heat of the change room has made me go all mushy. :S

So today was really long. I've been at school since 8:40 this morning. And running around madly doing stuff since then, too. After school the swim team stayed and did stuff for Lance during the volleyball tournament - that way we get the proceeds for our team. ^_^ It was really tedious, though. And we had practice aferwards.

Well anyways...yesterday something happened after swim practice that made me go all 'awwwwww!' and I was really, really happy. -But- (there's always a 'but,' isn't there?) well anyways today this person wasn't in a very good mood. I'm afraid I bug him. Or something. I mean well..well I don't know. It's very hot and cold. I don't know what to think. Or type. I'm confused, very, very confused!!!!
Whatever. 
Maybe they were just having a bad day.
I am turning into a vegetable. I want to collapse and go to sleep. I don't want to call someone and discuss this. They'll say 'I told you so.'

So...this song is making me think about a lot of things..I can feel the music in my gut. It's really slow/makes me sad. :S

So I have a lot to blog about! :P (Or blab, lol whichever you prefer to call it XD)

Well,just to warn you, this is a bit of a rant, bit of..hmm..nattering I guess, lol.

So, I just checked out some myspace accounts.
I have to say, half of me is wants to get one, the other half, not quite so.
When I see the MySpaces of the really preppy people, with horribe yet somehow popular music, and layouts that all look the same, I'm all 'augh a fad >.<'
And, well okay I don't mean to sound rude, but I may..sorry if I offend anyone, BUT some people are such hypocrites!!!!
On their profiles they're like, 'I'm a kind/nice person' when, in fact, I know they aren't because they spend their spare time gossping about me and putting down anyone who isn't a clone of them!! *rolls eyes* Sorry. I guess I just find it very irritating. Anyways, enough ranting!! :P

So onto a quick blog about my weekend!

Rob and i had a double date on friday with matt and mary. ^_^ It was fun, haha, we saw The Prestige, and wandered around the mall a bit. The end of the movie is amazing...it's all like 'WHOA.'
:) And, as Mary will say, I'm a chicken. Because it took me a week to do something and couldn't, because I overanalyzed wayyyy too much. But, I just hope, chicken in a good way? lol.

Today I walked to and from my church because I was helping pack up things from the Rummage Sale they did. Then I went to Aryn's all-girls bday party!!! It was awesome. HAPPY SWEET SIXTEEN ARYN!!! I made her a movie, with people saying how wonderful she is. :) ^_^ We danced, ate, watched Pirates of the Caribbean 1...lol, when we watched the movie, it was so funny, there were 5 of us on her couch, and I was on the bottom in the middle, so everyone's legs were on top of me XD I lost all feeling in my right leg!! Let me just say, when the blood rushed back it wasn't pleasant. XP All in all, though, I had great time. :) Haha - "It feels wierd when I poke my toe!" =P

So, great weekend so far.

If you're coming to the costume party on the 29th, could you let me know?

Just a quick update as to what I've been up to the last few weeks!

..So lately I've been struggling with whether or not to make a new design for this site. Last weekend I spent a LOT of time trying to come up some new ideas, and after scrapping 1 or 2 or 3, I've decided that this design is the best I've been able to come up with in a while, and I'm going to keep it.

I've also got to make some choices as to what I'm going to do this year...I don't have enough time to do all of the extra-curricular activities I want to do! :( So I've got to come to a decision...give up some stuff...it's pretty hard.

Aaaand guess what??? Swimming starts tomorrow! We have a practice after school from 3-5. ^_^ I'm so excited!!!!! Swimming was the most fun I've ever had on a team. I worked toward beating my personal best, getting to SWOSSAA, etc. etc....I'm really looking orward to this!!!

On Friday I went to the movies with Rob, Tanisha, and Liam. Kylie was supposed to be there too, but I guess something came up because she wasn't there! Haha, it was soooo funny - we saw Open Season. It's hilarious!!!! There's french ducks that are based on the french air force in WWII...haha. XD It's awesome. Tanisha came over around 5:30, we watched a bit of Shrek 2. :) Then when we went to the movies, haha, she was all 'Larry!!! Stop attracting males!!' ..and then 2 guys sat near HER...it was so funny. ^_^

I wish I had more to tell you about...but the rest is generally school, extracurricular activities, etc. etc. I need to take more pictures of everyone in the morning before/in class!! :)

*sigh* I love my camera. ^_^ I really wish I could maybe be a photographer, I love macro photography and media was my fave class when I had it last year! If it weren't for jazz class, I'd be in photography this year too. Oh well, there's always next year, I suppose! The thing is, even if I get my 35mm camera cleaned/fixed/new batteries, I know my family wont understand if I try to go into photography as a career. They won't back me up if I study it in university. They don't see careers in any type of arts as solid, they think you have to be a prodigy to be successful. But I could work for magazines, be a wedding photographer, do pictures for companies that need them for brochures. Eventually work up to having a studio..they just turn their nose up at it, though. The only one who remotely understands is my Aunt Jen, and she thinks I should establish a career in something more solid, like law or urban planning, before I try to make my way in the photograpgy world. I mean, they make fun of me when I'm doing photography! I take many pictures of the same thing over and over again changing the aperture, shutter speed, etc. until I get it perfect. They say I'm crazy, why not just shoot one and have a picture from that? But that's a SNAPSHOT. Not a PHOTOGRAPH. There's a huge difference.
And my Grandpa, after I try to show him my pictures of flowers and water and things, just looks at me and says 
'yes, so? what's the point of taking a picture of a flower?' and I just want to say, 'what's the point of taking a snapsot so it can sit in a box, forgotten, for fifty years? when a beautiful photograph will be remembered? What's the POINT of living if you're going to die anyways??' ..ut of course I won't. *shakes head* looks like I have no choice but to do what Aunt Jen wants me to do.

So, I'm really happy with my current situation right now, despite the above. :) I have amazing friends...I'm lucky to be able to be iin WCCA and improve my 'artistic abilities,' and I'm going out with a great guy. ^_^

..I want to organize something in the school for Make Poverty History...I think I'm going to suggest something at the next Peace Links meeting...did I go last week?
..oops. I forgot. :( I'll have to make sure I go this week!!

Anyways, Sorry for ranting about photography, lol.

..Tanisha and I might do volleyball too, it depends when swim ends. Lol, it depends on whether or not we make it, too. XD I suck at Vball...I'm too strong and always make it hit teh ceiling.. >.< Tanisha and I may just start training for badminton season now and have Mary's bf Matt help us with our technique, since he's apparently amazing at badminton and going to coach the team. Haha, he's got his work cut out for him. XD My reflexes leave a bit to be desired...oh well. Hopefully I can improve them, and then perhaps at least mediocre when the season starts!!

...So...yesh...big deal about sports lately. :P I can't help it though, I like the Walkerville teams! Even if we're a bit crap, we at least have fun while losing! haha...

Oh, and venturers: 95% I'll be joining. They're insane, but awesome. :P

....My weekends are going to be so busy, too! This Friday, Mena and I are walking to my house and then going to the mall...and when she comes back, we're going to make scones..and food/dinner...and watch a movie!! *cheesy thumbs up* lol.... =P And the friday after that, the movies: FLY BOYS!!! And then I have to babysit Joce on the 28th...and my youth group is having a costume party, either Sun. the 29th or sometime during the weekend before that. :D (That is, all of this will be happening if my gramma doesn't kill me after Parent-teacher night. I do warn you...I may not be able to update this site as much after that. =[.. )

The thing is, I don't think my marks are going to be all great. My work ethic is better this year than last year though, oddly enough...
..well, I think Woodwinds will be pretty good. 90-ish maybe. But then Bio...well, I thought I'd done GREAT on the first unit but I got stuff back and the marks were as follows:
88%, 77%, 67%, 50%, ...uhm..there's another 80 or 70% in there somewhere, I just can't quite remember.

Anyways, I thought I did great but did horrible. I'm so glad Ms. Nelson Szapck drops the worst marks at the end of the term...I DON'T WANT TO DIE!!!! >.<
Seriously, though...my gramma is going to be PISSED. I mean, Ms. Nelson-Szapck was all, 'your marks will skyrocket later, it's just cause this unit is really abstract and stuff that its gone down.' But that's not going to make a difference where my gramma is concerned! (I mean, my average is almost 90!!! But now it's not going to be!!!) *shakes because she's so terrified*

Urban Geo is really easy, I'm expecting something around 98% or so. But that's a college course for you. I only took it because I wanted to fill a spare, anyways.

Then...English *wince* isn't gonna be up to par eiher, because of a stupid essay test thing I didn't have time to finish...I couldn't concentrate because people were making noise. =( and I only got around a B on a visual poetry thing.

Jazz? I'm not even going to go there. I'll just say I am HORRIBLE. Even though I practice, too! I've got to try really hard on my intervals test on friday. ***Must memorize interval chart***

So...my grades are horrible. It was nice knowing you guys...

hmm...been a few days since I last blogged, hasn't it? Sorry! <3

I just want to say thanks to everyone who's come to the site and given me support, especially Mena, who's done nothing but comliment me and encourage me since day 1. (You are an amazing and supportive friend, mena!) I'd also like to thank  Mayensi, for also being there for me. ^_^ (haha, she and mena also have to put up with all my silly nattering about it during announcements!) Thanks you guys!!

I would thank all the rest of my friends for supporting me, *but* that would fill this entire box. O_o So thanks in general!!!! You know who you are. ^_^

So, onto my day.

It was pretty good! ^_^ Early morning, we played 'Salvation is Created' and 'Theme from Thus Spake Zarathustra.' The music is pretty boring though...Oh, and I'm second chair, first alto. ^_^. woot.

In bio, lol, Ms. Nelson-Szpack digressed while we were learning about fibre and oligosaccharides (carbs) to talk about.. *ahem*.. well I'll just say I wasn't so keen on eating lunch after the discussion, and we *were* learning about fibre. XD
Urban Geo, pretty starightforward - had to read some stuff and answer questions. I was a little tired, though, so I had to read a lot of stuff multiple times before it actually sank in, lol.

Lunch was pretty good. :) I had the startling realization that if I continue all the stuff I'm doing now, (extracurricular activities), and get more club points, when grade 12 is over I'll have enough min. in each section and enough total to have my picture in the library. O_o Awesome!!! That's been my goal since gr. 8 when we had a tour of the school. ^_~!  - Rob popped in for a bit, sarah asked (as usual) where mena was, and we told her (as usual) she was getting food from the caf...hehe just teasing you sarah! you know we love you! :D Haha, and Tanisha and Mayensi had some sort of knowing smile being exchanged between them. :S What it was about, I don't know. :S

Hmm...English, had to present my visual representation of a poem, uhm...oh and I read part of one of my favourite poems, 'I Stood Tiptoe Upon a Little Hill' and..answer questions by a poet named Yeats, too.

Jazz, well...I wasn't even going to go there but I guess I will anyways. -I haven't played much jazz, right, mainly classical on my alto sax. Well, I took jazz pretty much because Mr. Goyeau wanted me to - but now he's retired!!! ..And, I could have taken photography instead!!! :( :( :( *sniff* I love photograpy so much, too...oh well. Enough whining. Anyways, the long and short of it is, I suck at jazz. And reading jazz rhythms.

Walked home with Rob, ^_^, avoided being rained on, and now..here I am...

The thing is, I'm too scared. I just can't do that sort of thing, I don't want the person to end up avoiding me! The person's amazing, really nice, and a great friend. I don't want to lose that. :(

lol, I should probably be asleep by now, I have early morning tomorrow...oops, haha
I'll make this update pretty quick and then get ready for bed..

Today was a pretty good day! =D In fact, better than most since school's started. ;)
Bio, mena and i were moved back a seat cause Ms. Nelson Szapck needed the seats for some more talkative students...-coughwesandryancough-, and we did some questions on cell diffusion and organelles and whatnot.
Geo, we watched the Gangs of New York, and it's pretty cool. I've seen the end before but not the rest, so now, haha, it makes a lot more sense. ^_^
Lunch was good, considered checkong out joining Venturers, might be going to a meeting on wednesday. :) A little nervous, but I'll know 2 people there. I just have to check that I'm free then. Oh, and something happened that put in a better mood. ^_~
..haha, and i think Mayensi and Tanisha were up to something. they were hig-fiving at lunch...and sharing conspiratorial glances...lol.
..English - not so good. I presented my poem thing and the teacher found it hard to believe I didn't write it out firstjust b/c it rhymed (i was lucky to find words that went together, too!)..so, yah. And then I zoned out b/c I was tired and the teacher asked me a question, I was just kind of like, "uhhhh"....not pretty, lol.
Jazz, totally screwed up on swing rhythms test. Not doing so good in that class, and the teacher isn't helping me much when I ask him! argh!
OH, and in jazz had a total diss from 'Mr.Arrogant.' He turned to me and said (after 2 weeks of borrowing pens and occasionally talking to me in english!) said 'are you in my english class?'

Am I THAT forgettable? :( And then, he saaw my swesome Rolling Stones binder and was all 'The Stones! I love the Stones!' and I couldn't tell if he was mocking me or not. Then he asked me who my favourite Stone was (it's mick jagger) and he was all like 'hmm.' ...did I mention he's full of himself and totally arrogant? argh! 
BUT
afterwards mayensi and I walked to the corner of tecumseh and ottawa, laughing about mr. cassidy, lol. he really is hilarious. XD haha
..anyways, I then left her there and contnued on home, listening to my cd i burned. ^_^ I felt a bit uncomfortable, though, because a group of guys were walking close behind me. :S
anyways, yup...pretty good/great day overall, escalating my mood!

O_o wow. Today I signed on msn, and four people I've never met had added me. Has this happened to anyone before?
The only place I have my email is my old site, and I've seen the counter on it. No new people have been to the site.
I haven't given my email to anyone.
I haven't signed up for any fanlistings and said my email could be shown. :S 
Well, whatever. I can always block them, I guess.

I really need to work on putting font colours and stuff in here, and a proper comment box. The only thing is, when I use regular font html and stuff in a textbox, it doesn't work, and i have no idea how to go about making a proper commenting feature...hmm. I need to take a coding class on rss or css or something so I can make a website on Microsoft Frontpage, and then just have someone host me. It'd solve the annoyance of ads and textboxes. :)

..I just realized, I want to do so many things but I have so little time! I need to get a move on! I want to hang out with people, 
*sniff* my room smells like coffee. Someone's drinking coffee downstairs. nygggggh.
anyways, i want to hang out with people, write a novella, (hopefully a novel, sometime,)learn scuba diving, learn the clarinet, improve my jazz skills, work on my photography and maybe set up a darkroom thing in my basement, (just simple, like one of those light tight bags and that projection thingy, lol), go to a few concerts, go to some parties, get  job so i have more money to spend, get my G1, do some horseback riding and canoeing, go camping, earn a proficiency(sp?) award (gahhh now I need a 93-98% average :///!), etc. etc. etc.

I want to do so much stuff!!! :(  (and that's not mentioning the things im *already* doing!)

lmao, anyone up for a really busy summer with me maybe...?
but, school comes first. so i guess I'll have to give up on that stuff for now.

So, anyways, TGIF!!!!!!!!
I walked home today. :), went with mayensi to the corner of kildare and ottawa (bus stop) and then continued on home. it was cool except for the fact that my arm was falling off from my alto. =P i had a cd I burned a little while ago with me (lmao it's pathetic i felt like a rebel by bringing my cd player to school!), and when it started to rain i enjoyed it a bit, but then realized my alto would be really wet if the water got through any cracks, so i used the umbrella that was in my book bag that i bought the last itme i was at the mall. =D

Speaking of the mall, i don't know what i did, but a certain person i hang out with has been avoiding me or really busy, hmmm? I've called him quite a few times to talk and stuff, but has he put forth an effort to call me? invite me places? I will admit i get quiet around him and i dunno why, i mean usually i'm really talkative, but that's beside the point. the point is, this is turning into a one sided friendship. argh.

so, girls party next friday!!!! aaaand
i want to have a 'the exorcist' movie marathon, maybe next month around halloween or something, and watch the exorcist prequel, the exorcist, and the sequel (there are only 3, right?) sound good to you guys? lemme know if you're interested.

Also, it would be cool if we could start a thing where we hang out after school on a friday to 10 or so, chip in food money, etc. etc. im thinking an 80's movie marathon, too. ^_^

Lol, MR CASSIDY IS THE BEST!! lmao, it was so funny today, I went to give him a copy of my novella-in-progress after school and mayensi came with, and he was being sarcastic bout being too tough with advice and hurting my feelings, and he's like, and you, mayensi, you're always in here drinking something! haha, and then she took a big gulp of her koolaid thing. XD You're awesome mayensi! haha, i love mr. cassidy's sense of humour. ^_^

25 DAYS TILL SWIMMING!!!!!!!!!!! *can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait* it's awesome!!! you shoudl join! you don't have to be really fast, just dedicated and willing, and they're pretty flexible if you have early morning wcca and so on. Lance is hilarious! i had so much fun last year. ^_^ it goes from about october to february/march, depending how far you get in wecsaa, swossaa, and offssa. :)

So the site is pretty much finished now, all I have to do is add a few more pages and stuff. If you have any sugestions, let me know! I'm toying with the idea of changing the layouts on all the pages so they match this one...that'll take a LONG time tho. :P

So, on to the actual blogging.

Today was ok I guess.

I wore a preppy outfit, not typically me, but, I felt like wearing it. Honestly, some people can be so rude! You have no idea how many times I got the once-over from a girl. Hello?? I can tell you're judging me! I mean, I don't think I do it, and if I do it's not conciously. I hate it when people do it to me. Grr.
In Bio, we finished an experiment on transfer membranes. It was cool, we got to see a lot of colour changes of iodine solutions and starch solutions. :D I usully get all stressed and end up yelling at someone when I do experiments, not as anything personal towards the person but because I somehow always miss a step or mess up and get a really bad mark. But today Ms. Nelson-Szpack's instructions were really clear, I was stress-free (thanks article in seventeen mag! lol) and we did it with no problem! haha, I zoned out a bit tho and Mena had to remind me what it was I was supposed to go get from the back counter, lol.

We had a fire drill too, and I felt like such a flake in my preppy little outfit in the cold, walking throught the field iin heels. -And,- to think that I was just going to wear jeans and a sweatshirt in the first place, but then for some odd reason changed my mind.

...In Urban Geo, I worked on an assignment that's due tomorrow, about city patterns or whatever. My teacher is so disorganized, and the people in my class have absolutely no respect for him. He doesn't disciplne, so when he talks he just yells over the people talking, and if they dont do their homeework he gives them time ini class to do it. Then I feel like such a loser, because I don't know anyone there, <u>and actually did my homework,</u> so then I had absolutely nothing to do for awhile.

Lunch, Went to a peacelinks meeting. It was interesting. I have some ideas I'm gonna share with the club next week at lunch - sleeping children around the world, and those shoebox christmases, etc. I love doing those things, and I hope they appreciate my input.

English, Mr. Arrogant was less arrogant and a little nicer. He still bugs me tho. -_- We reviewed essays and stuff, and finished presentations on art pieces relating to a short story by Alistair McLeod. Lmao, Jordan wrote a hilarious intro on how carrots are going to take over the world! ^_^

Jazz, once again massacred the songs Yardbird Suite and Summertime. I'm so bad at rhythm reading!!!! I'm so worried I'm going to fail. :( I like music, but not when I'm horrible at it, lol.
